Jonathan became pastor in December of 2023; he has been a licensed and ordained minister for over 20 years and is the President and Director of a ministry teaching organization, Eyes Opened Ministries. He is also working towards a Master of Associates degree in Theological Studies (MATS) from Reformed Baptist Seminary. A native of Laurel Hill, NC, he has been in the area all his life. In 2005, he married his wife Amanda, and together they have three children and currently reside in Bennettsville, just three miles from the church. Pastor Jonathan loves to teach and preach expositionally, emphasizing the overall view of Christ and the Gospel at the heart of every message.
